Here is where I say I hope you all had a Merry Christmas.
I also hope all of you have a wonderful and prosperous 1999.  Don't get too drunk, and have happy birthdays, all of you.
I would put a family Newsletter in here, but I don't live with my family, so I will just go on and greet everyone that is reading this with seasonal greetings and other stuff.

  My Dad is currently back up to Scotland so he can go and do his <Whatever month it is> shift for the Ministry of Defence Police as a Chief Inspector, he returned the other day to find his car in the Airport car park with no windows in, after all, it is in Scotland, and it was very windy...It seemed that either some nasty youths put the windows through, or the gale-force winds simply blew them out (Which is the more feasible of them all...).

  Well, things at college are going OK, not far to go now, only a few more weeks and I will have an Advanced General National Vocational Qualification in Information Technology - Sounds cool don't it?  Well, it's the truth...

  So, it's the year 1999 and only (However many) more days to go until the year 2000...Think of all of those poor IBM compatible PC's that will chuck up at that small '2' instead of a '1'.  If you ask me, IBM were very stupid for  cutting out those extra two digits, but more stupid for giving Microsoft the license to make the Operating System for them...I'll kill 'em!
